Physio Night Out proudly presents the 2018 Speaker Series
We have been hosting some of the most prominent Physiotherapists around the GTA to present on various topics at clinics across the GTA. This time we’re bringing in UFC Director of PT Heather Linden all the way from Las Vegas to do an epic talks for us! There will be a Q&A following the presentation. After the presentations we’ll all head out to a nearby pub for a post-talk social event, cause why not right?

Heather Linden
(UFC Performance Institute)
Presentation Title: Maintaining healthy athletes & preventing injuries in MMA
Heather is the Director of Physical Therapy at the UFC Performance Institute. Heather received her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech University and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Old Dominion University.
Prior to joining the UFC, Heather served as a Senior High Performance Health Care Service Provider (Physical Therapist) with the US Olympic Committee (USOC) at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center Clinic. Heather served as a Team USA Physical Therapist for the 2012 London Olympic Games, 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, 2015 Parapan Am Games, 2016 Youth Winter Olympic Games, and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Prior to joining the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Division, Heather was the director of an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Los Angeles.
Heather has diverse experience in areas from pediatrics, geriatrics, amputees to vestibular disturbances; her career specialty is orthopedic manual sports physical therapy.
